When Vivian Emil Tapp, a young man, jumped off a moving tram in Tamar St. at 4.45 p.m. on February 18,. Constable McCormick, who was passing on his motor cycle, had difficulty in avoiding him. In court yesterday Tapp, who admitted having quit a tram while it was in motion, said he was a tramway employee accustomed to jumping off trams, and he had done so without thinking about it. He was fined 5/- with costs 8/ .
