A KETCH STRANDED HOBART, Sunday. While on an excursion today Captain Price, of the steamer Mongana, noticed the ketch Alice Maud in distress at White Rock. The vessel had misstaved and shot up between two rocks, becoming securely wedged. She was full of water, and when towed off by the Mongana began to sink. Captain Price then towed the Alice Maud to Mary Ann beach, South Arm, and there ran her ashore. The vessel was on her way from Hobart to Eaglehawk Neck when she met with a mishap about two months ago.
