POLICE COURT

The bench in the Beaconsfield Police Court yesterday morning was occupied by Mr. A. H. Weedon and Mr. J. E. Burn, Js.P. Senior-Constable E. H. Medwin prosecuted.
Robert West admitted having on August 20 been the keeper of six sheep found straying on the Glengarry-road, and was fined 5s with costs Ss and witness' expenses 2s. On a similiar charge George Stewart Prosser was fined 10s with costs 5s and witness' expenses 2s.
