Tasmanian Family
Miss Edith Crace-Calvert. who died at
Turramurra (N.S.W.) on. Saturday last was
the younger daughter of the late Mr. Charles
A. Crace-Calvert, pharmaceutical chemist, of
Hobart, and the late Mrs. Crace-Calvert. She
was educated at the Hobart Ladies' College,
and on leaving school, after the death of her
father, accompanied her mother and other
members of the family to England, where
her education was completed. On the death
of her mother, with her sister. Miss Florence
Crace-Calvert. she lived upwards of 10
years in Kashmir, and during the latter
part of her life -lived together in New South
Wales. She is survived by her sister and
by her brother, Mr. William F. Crace-Calvert
member of the Closer Settlement Board and
of the board of the Agricultural Bank in
Tasmania. It is of interest to recall that the
grandfather of Miss Crace-Calvert was
Mr. William Stammers Button, the first
