Weddings Celebrated
Prosser - Fitzmaurice
A BOUQUET of Christmas lilies and orchids was carried by Julie Lorna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Fitzmaurice, Rosebery, when she married John Tasman, only son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Stewart Prosser, of Mulgrave St., at the Church of the Apostles. Father Hughes officiated, and the bride was given away by her father. She wore pearls with her lace frock, which featured an upstanding collar. Her veil was lent by Mrs. R. Durkin.
Matrons of honour were Mrs. F. Spinks, of Adelaide, and Mrs. M. Richardson. They wore off-the shoulder gowns of blue and pink crepe respectively and matching picture hats. Robert Richardson was cushion bearer. Best man was Mr. M. Richardson, and Mr. T. Fitzmaurice was groomsman. The reception was held at the Lounge.
When leaving for the honeymoon in Hobart the bride wore a new length pink frock, trimmed with lace and a matching hat. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Prosser will live in Launceston.
