City Police Court.
The Police Magistrate', (Mr. E. L. Hall) occupied the bench in the City Court yesterday morning, whitn George Prosser was proceeded against for having left a horse and trap unattended in Frederick-street on August 21. He
pleaded guilty, and stated he had left the horse standing in order to deliver a bag of chaff, Before leaving the horse he had taken the precauticion to have the wheel securely strapped. The Police Magistrate said he thought defendant should have been able to drive into the yard, where he had to deliver the chalf, and ordered him to pay the costs of the proceedings, ammounting to 5s.
