L'ton Girl Wed in N.S.W.
THE BRIDEGROOM'S father officiated at the wedding at the Weston (N.S.W.) Presbyterian Church of Betty Teresa, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Tapp, Balfour St.. Launceston, and William H. H. (Bill), younger son of Rev. and Mrs. Alex. Menzies, The Manse, Weston.
The bride, who was given away by Mr. Don Bailey, wore a gown of off-white lace, showing a
heart-shaped neckline and a shirred bodice and peplum. The full skirt fell into a circular
train. Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a heart shaped coronet and white roses,.
which, combined with orchids and: carnations, were in her shower bouquet.
Misses Nancy and Margaret Menzies, who attended the bride, wore frocks of lace over moire.
taffeta in blue and pink respectively . Pink roses held their matching picture hats, and roses,
carnations and sweet peas were in their shower bouquets. The 'groom was attended by
nis cousin, Mr.. Keith Barker, as best man, and Mr. Charles Clasper. In the absence of the bride's parents, the 'groom's mother and Mrs. Don Bailey received 60 guests in the school hall.
When leaving for a tour of Queensland and New South Wales the bride wore a lime floral
frock, matching hat and grey accessories Mr. and Mrs. W. H. H. Menzies will live at Ravenswood,
