In March 1899 William Henry Collier departs by ship for London from Albany. He returns some 4 months later also by ship from London to Albany. Ellen Shepherd leaves London in November that year and arrives in December. She joins her father in Cue. William Henry had a pub in Cue called "The Old Spot Inn", later it was known as the "Old Spot Hotel" We think too that there is some connection with Austin Downs Station. Olwen, Trevor's mother 's middle name was Austin and it was the name of the midwife who delivered Olwen. In those days friends and family were the local midwife and so she may be from Austin Downs. Also "the Old Spot Inn" was situated in Austin Street, Cue as yet we have not been able to discover where in Austin St it was situated.
