COLLIDGE- SMITH.
At Lithgow, on December 4th, the
wedding- was celebrated at the resi
dence of Mr. Phillip Harper of Miss
Alice Florence, youngest daughter of
Mr. Smith, of Corrimal, South Coast,
and adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Phillip Harper, of Lithgow, and Mr.
George Edward Collidge, late of Ho
bart, Tasmania. The bride wore a
dress of white silk, with tucked panel
in fr of skirt court train, with
tulle veil and coronet of orange
blossoms. She also wore an engrav
ed ring, and carried a shower bouquet
of white roses and lilies with ribbon
streamers, the gift of the bridegroom.
The bridesmaids were Miss Mabel
Sarah, wearing cream voile trimmed
with insertion and tucks, and she also
wore a gold charm pin (grift of the
bridegroom), and Miss Grace Quean
bcyan Morris, a little tot of six years,
who looked very pretty in white book
muslin, with satin and lace, bonnet
and satin sash. She also carried a
shower bouquet, and wore a gold
charm pin, the gifts of the bride
groom. Mr. James Jones - acted as
best man. After the - ceremony a
wedding- tea was held and the usual
toasts honored. The presents were
numerous, including household furni
ture from the adopted mother, and
cheque from the adopted father to the
bride.
