Death Notes
[Thomas died as the result of a car accident, between six and seven pm on the 11th August 1930, on the way home from a funeral in Ross. He was aged 46, a labourer, and worked at a Brambletye farming property near Conara. It was reported in the Mercury newspaper that a tyre blew out causing the car to capsize and pin him underneath. Thomas’ head was probably crushed by the steering wheel while three passengers were uninjured. He left behind his wife and ten children.]
