BURNING FATALITY
DEATH OF A CHILD
Hobart Friday. Superintendant Conlan received a telegram to-day from
Inspectoror Griffith at Sorell to the effect that a fourteen-year-old girl,
named Matilda Tatnell, was burned to death at Nubeena yesterday. While
standing before a fire her dress caught alight, and the flames spread
rapidly. The child was beyond hope before any effective assistance could be
effected.
