Coming-of-Age Party,
At St..Marys Over 200 guests attended the 21st birthday party given by Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Bushing in honour of their younger daughter, Thelma (Dawn), at St. Marys.
The guest of honour wore a pale pink brocade frock, with a trail of pink roses and silver ribbon falling from the hip. In her hair she wore a. pink rose. A bouquet of carnatioins and erica was presented to her by Pam Birrell.
The hall was decorated with streamers, manferns and coloured
lights. The three-tiered birthday cake was iced and decorated by Mr.
P. Llewellyn.- Dancing and competitions were enjoyed.
Items were given by Mr. Jack Parsons and Miss Blanche Good, of Wilmot.
