When Charlotte Rhoda Figg was born on August 28, 1896, in Tunnack, Tasmania, Australia, her father, Aldinga, was 26, and her mother, Margaret, was 20. She married Hector Otway Bone in 1942 in Victoria, Australia. She died on October 17, 1986, in Leongatha, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 90, and was buried there.
