William David Clark

William David Price was born at Evandale and moved to Bruny Island asa young boy. He worked for many years on the Enterprise carryingtimber up the Derwent River to be landed in front of Jam Factory inVictoria Dock. He later purchased the Enterprise and it was moored formany years in Prince of Wales Bay. He sold it to the Sea Life Centreat Bicheno, Tasmania where it is displayed out of the water as part oftheir Marina. The Enterprise was built in 1902 in Hobart. It wasoriginally owned by Wellington George Gorringe.
