NONSUITED.
A Court of Requests was held at Fingal on Tuesday, before Mr. Commissioner
E. L. Hall, when only one case was set down for hearing. It was Eliza Derricks v. Basil Edgar Tapp. This was an action brought by plaintiff against the defendant, a miner, residing at Cornwall, for the recovery of £5 5s, alleged to be due. Plaintiff gave evidence on her own behalf, and also called Dr. Hoskins. For the defence evidence was given by the defendant, Alice Tapp, Mrs. Williams, and Daisy Madden. The plaintiff was non-suited. -Mr. H. H. Elliston conducted the case for the defendant, plaintiff being unrepresented by counsel.
