MOTHER'S DAY was observed on Sunday, when special services were held in the Anglican, Methodist and Baptist Churches.
Much needed rain felil in the district. The early sown oats will benefit considerably.
Mrs. Ray Bird and three children are on holidays with Mrs. Bird's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Wadley.
Miss Joyce Wise ls spending holidays with Mrs. 13. Chadwick. Mrs.V. Heathcote and two children are tho guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H.
