EVANGELIST'S VISIT
Noted Australian and New Zealand evangelist, Rev William Dunlop, arrived at Launceston yesterday to conduct a series of open air rallies and Bible meetings.
Mr. Dunlop. who made the trip direct from Sydney by air, is secretary of the Faith Mission in Sydney. He received his training from the late Rev. Dr. Alex ander Torrey.
It Is Mr. Dunlop's second visit to Tasmania in 20 years. He opened his campaign with an open-air rally in the city last night.
He will occupy the pulpit at the Memorial Baptist Church tomorrow morning, and will address a Salvation Army meeting on October 26.
The committee of the Inasmuch Mission last night welcomed Mr. Dunlop at a dinner at the home of the social secretary (Mr. C. A. Tapp). A welcome was extended by Messrs. Tapp and A. V. Billett. and Rev. A. L Moore, of Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Alex Mair presided.
