MISHAP AT SOUP KITCHEN
Sir,-Regarding the scalding accident at the City Mission's soup kitcthen, I should like to state that I am the father of the child Daphne Tapp, and that the child was not scalded by soup, but through a container of hot water being accidentally knocked over and she receved the contents over her feet. The accident In no way reflects upon the workers at the soup kitchen, and in my opinion they are doing a good job, and certainly take all necessary care of the little ones who come to the Dunning-Street Hall three times daily. My wife and I were both present when this accident occurred, and I definitely state there was no blame attached to anyone.
ALBERT TAPP.
