SURPRISE PARTY
Various friends of Mr. Alex. Menzies, the City Missioner, marked the occasion of his birthday by a surprise party given by them at his home, Eardley-street, on Monday evening. An enjoyable time was spent in community singing, games and competitions. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. A. Menzies, Mr. and Mrs. H. Lincolne, Mr. and Mrs. L. von Bibra, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Tapp, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Clements, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Farmilo. Mrs. V. Ferrall, Mrs. Moss, Misses J. Harris, R. Ferrall, D. Tapp and B. Tapp.
