Spinks-Fitzmaurice
IVORY satin fashioned the gown worn by Leila Dorothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Fitzmaurice, Rosebery, when she married Frederick Louis Spinks, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Spinks, Rosebery, at St. Joseph's last Saturday.
Father E. Roche officiated and the bride was given away by her father,
Her gown had a long train, and her veil of embroidered tulle was lent by Mrs. R. Durkin, Launceston. Bridesmaids were Misses Mollie Walsh and Julie Fitzmaurice.
They wore old world frocks of white organdie featuring hand painted floral designs. Trainbearer was Elaine Bennett. Best man was Mr. H. Harding and Mr. T. Fitzmiaurice was groomsman. The reception was held at the Rosebery Town Hall.
When leaving for the honey moon in Adelaide the bride wore a suit of ice-blue crepe topped with a burgundy coat of English gabardine.
