DERBY.
At the Derby Police Court on Saturday, before Messrs.' C. Lucas and M. Grace, JsP., Claude Byron Fitzmaurice made an application for a license to sell liquor at the Imperial Hotel, Derby, until the next quarterly meeting. Mr. S. F. Evans appeared on behalf of the applicant, and placed before the justices several testimonials as to character, etc, The application was granted.
Mr F. F. Fitzmaurice made an application for permission to sell liquor on the Derby Recreation Ground on December 29 at the Derby Trotting Club's meet. The application was granted.
