Beatrice Mary Steele was buried at Cornelian Bay Cemetery and Crematorium, Tasmania, Australia. She Beatrice or Trixie as she was known wrote short stories for magazines, apart from keeping a wonderful garden and raising a family mostly on her own after death of D'Arcy Yeoland, in 1924. She married Cecil D'arcy Yeoland, son of William Heady Yeoland and Fanny Sheldon Denne, on 1 December 1909 at Holy Trinity Church of England, 50 Warwick Street, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Beatrice Mary Steele died on 8 August 1974 at age 89.
