He was circa 1850 at Denbigh, Denbighshire, Wales,sentenced to 10 years for stealing mare. Hewas transported on 27 June 1850 on the convict transport ship 'Nile' from London, England to Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. He arrived on the convict transport ship 'Nile' on 3 October 1850 in Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia from England. He married Convict Mary Ann Atkins, daughter of Joseph Atkins and Mary (?), on 22 September 1851 at Spring Bay, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Convict Thomas Evans died on 1 October 1882 at Tasmania, Australia.1
