She married Albert Nathaniel Payne, son of William Payne and Jane Minnie Elizabeth Lucas, circa May 1936 at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. Edith M York died on 25 June 1998 at Weston Flavell, Northampton, England, at age 81.
