Sarah Williams was born in 1789 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, The birth certificate lists her mother as Frances; but has no father listed. She was baptized on 16 July 1789 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She arrived March 1790 on the convict transport ship 'HMS Sirius' with the second group of convicts along with Robert and Frances. She arrived 1804 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. After her mother's death she returned to Sydney with Robert and her sister Elizabeth. She died on 3 August 1855 at age 66.

District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams was born on 10 December 1796 at Norfolk Island. He was baptized in 1804 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; James was baptised on the same day as his sister, no father was recorded. He arrived 1 March 1808 on the ship 'Lady Nelson' in Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia.
Jane and James must have come to Hobart as part of the evacuation, she with the Croppers and he with Noah Mortimer in 1808. It seems Sarah did not come to Tasmania but Elizabeth did join her siblings much later. He in 1813 was granted land with Mortimer. James got 39 acres in the same district, Broad Valley, Monmouth, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. He married Convict Mary Ann Bradshaw on 28 August 1816 at Hobart, Van Diemens Land, Australia; Convicts who married were often assigned to their husband as a servant. District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams lived in 1817 at Newtown, Van Diemen's Land, Australia; Reported in the Hobart Town Gazette on 4 January. He married Mary Joanne Ellen Faulkner in 1820 at Big Lagoon, Van Diemen's Land, Australia; Not married - common-law relationship. District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams lived in 1821 at Big Lagoon, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Living with Mary Anne Faulkner and Noah Mortimer. He. this article appeared at The Hobart Town Gazette, Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia, on 7 January 1825 a story of the slaughter of 200 sheep near the huts of Noah Mortimer and James Williams near Big Lagoon. He arrived 1830 Van Diemen's Land, Australia. He married Margarita Norman in 1832 at Hobart, Van Diemens Land, Australia. District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams was Licensee of the Pickwick Tavern in September 1839 at Hobart, Van Diemens Land, Australia. He died on 7 April 1851 at Stowell Hotel, Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. James was the licensee of the hotel.

Her married name was Williams. Mary Joanne Ellen Faulkner was born in 1801 at North Wales. She was Convicted on 22 July 1817 at Lancaster, Lancashire, England. Convicted of Larceny and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She married District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams, son of Robert Ryan and Convict Frances Williams, in 1820 at Big Lagoon, Van Diemen's Land, Australia; Not married - common-law relationship. Mary Joanne Ellen Faulkner was in 1823 listed in the Convict Muster as a servant of James Williams at Jericho, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. She was granted on 11 February 1825 Van Diemen's Land, Australia, a Certificate of Freedom after she had completed her sentence. She was charged with stealing 18 cattle by Noah and Ann. This charge was later dismissed but it had the effect of driving Mary Ann and her children out of the area. in September 1827 at Big Lagoon, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. As of October 1827,her married name was Barber. She married David Barber in October 1827 at Dysart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Not married. Mary Joanne Ellen Faulkner died on 25 July 1852 at River Jordan, Broadmarsh, Van Diemen's Land, Australia.

Her married name was Williams. Convict Mary Ann Bradshaw was born in 1798 at City of Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. She wasconvicted for stealing cotton and sentenced to 7 Years transportation in February 1815 at Dublin, Ireland. Shewas transported on 4 November 1815 on the convict transport ship 'Alexander' from Dublin to Australia. She arrived 4 April 1816 on the convict transport ship 'Alexander' in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She arrived 28 April 1816 on the ship 'Kangaroo' in Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. She married District Constable James (Jacobo) Williams, son of Robert Ryan and Convict Frances Williams, on 28 August 1816 at Hobart, Van Diemens Land, Australia; Convicts who married were often assigned to their husband as a servant. Convict Mary Ann Bradshaw lived on 4 January 1817 at Newtown, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. She died on 27 February 1818 at Austin's Ferry, Van Diemen's Land, Australia, They were returning from Hobart on 27 February 1818 when she and twelve other people on board, were drowned when the ferry capsized off what is now Austins Ferry. James niece, Jane Williams probably also drowned in this accident.
