     Convict William Clarke was also known as William Clark. He was born on 28 October 1770 at Lincolnshire, England. He was charge 'receiving stolen goods' - 14 years on 1 May 1805 at Old Bailey, Middlesex, England. He arrived July 1806 New South Wales, Australia. He married Anna Maria Singleton, daughter of William Singleton and Hannah Parkinson, on 1 September 1810 at St. Matthew's Church of England, Moses Street, Windsor, New South Wales, Australia. Convict William Clarke William was on list of persons to be issued with horned cattle from Government sources. on 22 June 1816. He lived in 1844 at Windsor, New South Wales, Australia; Electoral Roll. William's qualification to vote was a dwelling houseat North Richmond. He died on 12 June 1848 at Windsor, New South Wales, Australia, at age 77.

     Her married name was Dight. Her married name was Harborne. Her married name was Baldwin. Alice Clarke was born on 26 October 1810 at Windsor, New South Wales, Australia. She married Edwin Baldwin, son of Convict Henry Baldwin and Elizabeth Carpenter, on 20 February 1826 at St John's Anglican Church, Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia; Church of Saint John
There have been clergy who visited Wilberforce from time to time,until the appointment of a resident minister at the Hawkesbury in1810. He was the Rev Robert Cartwright, who held services atWilberforce on alternate Sundays. In 1819 he was succeeded by the RevJohn Cross. During his term (1819-1828) the fine church of St Matthew,under the architect Francis Greenway was erected at Windsor, as wellas the charming Georgian rectory. It is possible that Greenway wasagain the architect for the rectory, the builder was William Cox.

The first marriage entered was on 20 February, 1826 between EdwinBaldwin and Alice Clarke, both of Wilberforce. They were married atSt. Matthew’s. Then follow Joseph Cobson and Ann Farrell, married on 5March, 1826 in the Macquarie Schoolhouse. Solomon Wiseman and SophiaWarner were also married there in that same year.
Alice Clarke married George Dight in 1841 at Maitland, New South Wales, Australia. Alice Clarke married John Harborne in 1845. Alice Clarke died on 20 April 1863 at Cockfighters Creek, Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia, at age 52.
