He arrived 1803 on the convict transport ship 'Calcutta', Sorrento, Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia
Sullivan Bay at Sorrento became the site of Victoria's first European settlement with the arrival of the 'Calcutta' and 'Ocean' in 1803. Due to a lack of fresh water the settlement was short lived. Hewas transported in February 1803 on the convict transport ship 'H.M.S. Calcutta' from England to New South Wales, Australia. He arrived 20 February 1804 on the convict transport ship 'Ocean' in Risdon Cove, Van Diemen's Land from Port Phillip, New South Wales. He married Convict Elizabeth Mildred Rose Harrison, daughter of Francis Harrison and Mary South, on 6 November 1809 at St. David's Cathedral, 125 Macquarie Street, Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia; Married by Rev. Knopwood. Convict William Williams was William was found guilty (with his wife) of receiving stolen goods, and was sentenced to labour for the crown for 3 years. on 3 September 1814 at Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Convict Elizabeth Mildred Rose Harrison lived on 25 March 1811 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia; New South Wales and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849. She died on 3 September 1817 at Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia, at age 36 Died after being severely burnt when her clothes caught fire. She diedon Wednesday after a lingering and painful illness of eleven weeks.
