He Henry arrived in Melbourne at the age of 22 on the ship 'Plantar' in 1858. He came with his older brother, Edward aged 44, Merchant. His sister-in-law Sarah, their eight children and a nursemaid. They came as unassisted passengers and are both listed afterwards as Drapers

In 1864 Henry Francis (as he was called) married Anna Maria Evans at the home of Edward. They later moved around Melbourne as a draper,but he also speculated in land etc. He formed a company with his brother Thomas Coulter (called T.C.) who lived at Gardeners Creek (Prahran) and they built the Kilmore Gas Works and then the Heildelberg Gas Works. This is all documented in a book brought out by the gas works called 'The Circle of Influence' by Ray Proudly. in 1858. He was Draper in 1858. He married Anna Maria Evans, daughter of Samuel George Evans and Isabella O'Malley, on 13 December 1864 at Private residence, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Henry Francis Wright died on 21 June 1913 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

He must have been able to build quite well as he built part of the home at Barham Valley, Apollo Bay. He died at Swan Hill in 1935. He was born in 1869.
