Elizabeth (Betsy) could have met John Tabart when she lived with her parents in the Sir George Arthur Hotel. John Tabart had a town house in Campbell Street, a block further up from the Theatre Royal Hotel. Elizabeth Lewis died on 19 October 1910 at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, at age 71. She was buried after 19 October 1910.
