She became District Nurse at Aldwinkle and then she met her second husband William Shaw as she nursed him when he was shot by poachers. Her married name was Kinch. She was born in 1881 at
Welton Station, Watford, Northampton, England. She married
Arthur William Kinch, son of
Thomas Kinch and
Mary Jane Eva, on 6 August 1900 at
Bexley Heath, Kent, England. Elsie Ada Eames appeared on the census of 1901 at
King Street, Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, England; Married with 1 daughter. She appeared on the census of 1911 at
Salem, Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, England; Married to Arthur 10 years with 4 children. She was a District Nurse at Aldwinkle in 1915. She died on 8 November 1963 at
St. Edmunds Hospital, Northampton, England.
