Riley Florence was four years old when her mother died and was reared by Mrs. Piera. I knew her as 'Aunt Peg' and most people called her 'Peggy' when I knew her. Story goes she went to work as a domestic servant for 'Herbert Biddle' who had a farm outside Apollo Bay. She married him in 1915, she was sixteen and he was forty one. They had quite a few children some of which did not survive. She died at home on 31 May 1961. Her married name was Biddle. Florence Agnes Riley was also known as Florrie Riley. She was born on 16 March 1898 at
Cowarr, Victoria, Australia. She married
Herbert King Biddle, son of
Milton Thomas Biddle and
Mary Ann Heather, in 1915 at
Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia. Florence Agnes Riley died on 31 May 1961 at
Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia, at age 63. She was buried on 1 June 1961 at
Apollo Bay Cemetery, 'Krambruk', Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia.

Riley He bought property next to Trevena and Fred Wright where he cleaned it all up for a dairy farm. He bought it through the Soldier Settlement Scheme. When he could not manage the farm any more. He sold and moved into Apollo Bay.
He married his step sister Atholina (Lena) Tate. They had no children, but did a lot for a Boys Town in Melbourne, often having them stay there during holidays. He was born in 1891. He served in
Australian Imperial Force, Light Horse Brigade, between 1914 and 1919. He died circa 1960.
