He died in Lowestoft Hospital (not at sea at all) on the 26th April,1901. The death certificate has the cause as 'tubercular cystitis'(11months) and 'cardiac failure' (10 hours certified). His professionwas given as 'steam sawyer'. (I guess the lost at !sea story must havecome from the family telling children !something moreromantic/acceptable? The death was registered !on the 27th of April bysister-in-law Olive Moore)
