Anastatia Kenny aged 23 years was found guilty of larceny on 21/01/1851 at County Wexford. For this charge and former convictions, she was sentenced to 7 years transportation. She was transported on 28 December 1851 from on the convict transport ship 'John William Dare' from Dublin, Ireland to Hobart, Van Diemen's Land, Australia

The 'J.W. DARE' departed with 172 persons on board and after 146 days arrived in Van Diemen's Land where 169 disembarked. The ships master was Thos WALTERS and the ships surgeon was Rbt W. CLARKE.
