He was left (a) farm of 50 acres at Norfolk Plains, originally granted to his father, (next to Jordan's Farm), (b) Farm of 107 acres in Parish of Breadalbane, granted to Wm Saltmarsh. (c) farm of 40 acres, originally granted to John Massau, (d) 50 acres of land at Norfolk plains, originally granted to Richard Jordan, (e) 60 acres of land at Norfolk Plains, granted to Wm Saltmarsh, for the term of 8 years after his father's death - during that period paying to brother Joseph the annual sum of 50 pounds. After this 7 years the farms to brother Thomasfor 7 years & he was to pay 50 pounds to Joseph also. The farms, after another7 years, to move on to eldest surviving son of daughter MaryWISE. Every 7 years after this the farms were to continue to go on to other grand-children.
