     Samuel Marsden was born in 1769 at England. He departed on the convict transport ship 'Surprise' 13 November 1789 from England to Australia. He was Soldier. Came to Australia on the 2nd fleet in 1790. in 1790. He married Convict Rachel Earley circa 1793; Never actually married. Samuel Marsden married Ann Harmsworth, daughter of Thomas Harmsworth and Alice Ellis Mansfield, in 1800 at St Phillip's Church of England, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; NSW BDM Ref. V1800465 3A/1800. Samuel Marsden died on 25 February 1830 at Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.1 He was buried circa 27 February 1830 at St Luke's Church of England Cemetery, Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.2

     Her married name was Marsden. Convict Rachel Earley was born on 23 April 1769 at Lambourn, West Berkshire, England. She was (an unknown value) on 25 July 1786 at Reading, Berkshire, England.1 She was Transported 1788 on the convict transport ship 'Friendship' from England to Australia. She married Samuel Marsden circa 1793; Never actually married. Convict Rachel Earley died on 27 April 1842 at Kangaroo Point, Van Diemen's Land, Australia, at age 73.

He was born on 16 October 1810 at Norfolk Island.1,2 He married Elizabeth Woodley on 10 October 1842 at St Andrew's Scots Presbyterian Church, corner of Dover Road and Carlisle Street, Rose Bay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.2 Samuel Marsden died on 27 May 1853 at New South Wales, Australia, at age 42.2

     Thomas Marsden was a Wheelwright. He was born on 11 April 1805 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1,2 He married Convict Elizabeth Jones on 2 September 1839 at St. Luke's Church of England, Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia; The marriage certificate states 'with approval of the Governor'after Elizabeth's name.
