Her married name was FULLER. Her married name was Beswick. Her married name was Peck. Mary Ann McKenzie was born on 23 August 1813 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She married Jeremiah Peck, son of Joshua Peck and Mary Frost, on 8 November 1829 at Launceston, Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Mary Ann McKenzie married Convict Thomas Beswick in 1834 at St. John's Church, St John Street, Launceston, Van Diemen's Land, Australia; The marriage of Thomas and Mary at St. John's, Launceston, in 1834, isregistered as follows:
No. 340 Thomas Beswick, Ticket of Leave, of the Parish of St John,Launceston, and Mary Peck, Free (Widow), of - Pattersons Plains - weremarried in this church by Banns, with the consent of Government, theSixth day of May in the year 1834. By me W.H. Browne LLD Chaplain
This marriage was ) Thomas Beswick (Sir Godfrey Webster)
solemnized between us) Mary Peck
In the presence of ) Samuel Yates of Launceston his x mark
) William Jones of Launceston
Recording the name of the ship (Sir Godfrey Webster) on which aconvict was transported was normal practice. It served to keepofficial record of their Thomas was still a convict for another twoyears although he would have been on `ticket of leave' for severalyears already. He was living in Launceston, probably in Bathurst St.,and working as a shoemaker, or `cordwainer', as he was called in amortgage document the previous year. Besides his place in town he hada property on the South Esk, within the Morven district. The nameYates(2) which appears on the South Esk land deeds is probably relatedto the one who witnessed their marriage. Those 50 acres together withThomas Brennan's having land on the South Esk, and his convictassignment at Morven suggests an association with the area whichprovided plenty of opportunity for him to have known Mary for someyears before they married.
Mary Ann McKenzie married Richard Fuller on 29 July 1878 at Tasmania, Australia. Mary Ann McKenzie died on 4 June 1886 at Ringarooma, Tasmania, Australia, at age 72.

Margaret Beswick The birth of their first child is recorded in Mary's Bible.
Magrett Beswick Born on the Ninth Day of Feb.y at seven A O'clock inthe Morning In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred anthirty six at the White Hills Joining[?] Mr. R. Jordan VDL
White Hills could have been an alternative name for the area includingthe part of Patterson Plains which was on the Southern side of theNorth Esk River where their farm was, but it could indicate adifferent locality a few miles away at and beyond the present centreof White Hills. Mary's mother Ann Brennan was living at White Hillsand she could have gone to her place for the birth. The Jordans atTalisker, in the White Hills area, were neighbours of the Kerrs, andMary's sister Margaret had recently married William Kerr, so that isanother possibility for location of the birth. There was plenty ofhelp available from friends and neighbours. We believe that this childwas named Margaret after Thomas' mother. She appears in a record ofthe household in the census of 1838, but died at the age of four on 27May 1840.
She was born on 9 February 1836 at White Hills, Van Diemen's Land, Australia.1 She died on 27 May 1840 at age 4.1
