She died on 26 June 1901 at 'The Red House', Kingston, Tasmania, Australia, at age 90 The ‘Red House’ is now in the possession of the Kingston Golf Club and is still in use as their Clubrooms.

James Campbell1

James Campbell was born on 28 February 1760 at Campbeltown, Argylshire, Scotland. He married Adelaide Van Sek in 1821 at England. James Campbell departed on the ship 'Hibernia' 27 November 1832 Liverpool, Lankashire, England
On board the 'Hibernia' when it left Liverpool were 79 male, 80 female, and 50 child passengers and 19 crew plus 4 ship's boys. The survivors were 16 crew members, 40 male, 17 female, and 6 child passengers. Included were 9 cabin passengers (7 male and 2 female) all of whom were saved. The rest were 'poor free'. The 'Hibernia' only had three rescue boats, a longboat, a pinnace and a gig. The pinnace was about to pull away with 11 males on board until the Captain made them make room for a married couple and their four children.
List of passengers who arrived in HOBART TOWN aboard the 'ADELAIDE' which picked them up from RIO after the burning of the 'HIBERNIA' which left
LIVERPOOL 27 Nov 1832 and burned to the waterline 5 Feb 1833 in mid Atlantic. Many 'poor orphans' were drowned including the 4 MAIDER sisters.
