Evidence found of the shop as late as 1921. The Webbs lived in a brick housein Lennox St., Parramatta. The house has since been demolished to makeway for a block of flats.
During the great depression John travelled North with his family, working at various jobs, including selling Tea to the farmers, eventually moving back to Sydney. at
