Her married name was Giblin. Her married name was Dawes. She was born on 25 June 1805 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She married Thomas Giblin on 23 June 1833 at Van Diemen's Land, Australia. Caroline Maria Riseley died on 13 March 1840 at age 34.

     Catherine Riseley Catherine was the sister of Maria Riseley, who was transported to Sydney from England in 1804 and subsequently married an Edward Lord and moved to Hobart. Catherine obviously came to Australia to visit Maria in 1813 and, shortly after her arrival, married a Lt James Taylor. In 1814 they sailed from Hobart to Ceylon with James's regiment. James died in Ceylon in 1817. They had three children, two of whom returned eventually to Tasmania. Catherine herself also returned to Hobart in 1820 where she married Thomas Cookson Simpson. Her married name was Taylor. Her married name was Simpson. She was born on 9 February 1796 at Molesworth, Huntingdonshire, England. She married James Taylor on 1 June 1813 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Catherine Riseley married Thomas Cookson Simpson on 30 November 1820 Launceston, Van Diemen's Land, Australia, (an unknown value.)
