James Warner There are a couple of issues -
(1) nothing else to tie James to his mother Susannah except via the 1841 census. unable to trace her outside of this census. In this household James is 20.
(2) There is another James WARNER of Colchester in the 1841 census whose age is 26. He is a coachman. have found him only in the 1841 and 1861 censuses and he must be in the 1851 somewhere. There seems anyway little benefit in chasing too much after him and after much rumination. It's safe to discount this person as a direct ancestor although - since he was found in 1861 with William GALLIFING, I would say that he is connected somehow to James. A cousin perhaps? He was born in 1821 at Greenstead, Colchester, Essex, England.1,2,3,4 He appeared in the 1841 census at St James Parish, East Street, Colchester, Essex, England. (age 20.)5 He appeared in the 1851 census at 38 Balkerne Hill, St Peter, Colchester, Essex, England. Occupation Sawyer (age 32) Visitor.6 He was Timber Hewer (on marr cert) Married 2.7.1855 on 2 July 1855. He married Eleanor Gallerfing, daughter of William Gallerfing and Ann Gallerfing, on 2 July 1855 at Colchester, Essex, England.4 James Warner appeared in the 1861 census at Balkerne Lane, St Mary at the Walls, Colchester, Essex, England.
